Ever since my IP technician installed an ethernet card in my computer and connected me to the network, my computer asks me for a Networking/NetMeeting password. I simply escape from the dialog box, but is there something I could do so that the dialog box did not to appear?
When networking is installed, the network logon is automatically invoked. To get rid of it, open the Network icon in Control panel and select 'Windows logon' from the drop-down list for 'Primary network logon'. However, if at some point you need to access network services that require authentication, you'll still have to log on.
